Job Description
Location: Irving TX 75061
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Deliver direct patient care to neonates in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Monitor and assess the health status of infants promptly recognizing changes in condition.
- Administer medications fluids and treatments as prescribed.
- Operate and manage life-support systems including ventilators and incubators.
- Collaborate with physicians respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate and support parents and families during hospitalization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Comply with all hospital policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification must be obtained upon hire.
