Job Description

Morgan Stanley (MS) is a global financial services firm that conducts its business through three principal business segmentsInstitutional Securities Wealth Management and Asset Management. Wealth Management provides comprehensive financial advice and services to its clients including brokerage investment advisory financial and wealth planning credit & lending deposits & cash management annuities insurance retirement and trust services.

The Financial Advisor Associate (FAA) Talent Management group drives the overall strategy relative to the sourcing and professional development of new Financial Advisor Associates for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. The FAA Training Program encompasses a variety of pathways to becoming a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and is central to the Firms long-term sustainability and revenue growth.

Position Summary

The FAA Curriculum Manager will be responsible for driving the curriculum development and execution for the broader FAA person will report to the Team Engagement Lead for FAA Talent Management and serve as the liaison between various departments to ensure up to date training and coaching for FAAs on the full Morgan Stanley integrated firm model.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead the overall development of the FAA training content and program implementation
  • Drive the ongoing evaluation of FAA training for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Partner to execute the multi-year FAA Wealth Management program
  • Manage the production and preparation of quality training material including design documents associate materials presentation slides instructor guides workbooks and assessments.
  • Support virtual classroom engagement
  • Collaborate with training resources across the firm to effectively execute remote based learning activities
  • Collaborate and manage relationships with external training resources to effectively execute remote based learning activities
  • Engage with subject matter experts across the firm to maintain best in class curriculum
  • Manage and assist with compliance submissions for all FAA training material and applicable communications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum 2 3 years of experience in corporate training and development project management program oversight
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to foster strong relationships amongst the team with Associates and with Field Management
  • Strategic thinker bringing innovative ideas to streamline processes
  • Strong project management skills with a particular attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110000 and $185000 per year at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
