Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Part-Time Finance Officer
Location: Fulham Football Club Foundation
Hours: 35 hours per week (part-time)
As a Finance Officer you will provide essential financial and administrative support to colleagues clients and stakeholders across the organisation. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and maintaining the integrity of our financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records process invoices credit notes and purchase orders.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable perform bank reconciliations and track daily transactions.
- Handle company credit card and petty cash transactions in line with internal policies.
- Reconcile payroll mobile phone usage and staff expenses including credit and Oyster cards.
- Prepare and post month-end journals to support the production of management accounts.
- Support financial audits through preparation of documentation and timely responses to queries.
- Ensure financial systems are kept up to date and assist with the review and implementation of financial policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments provide excellent customer service and support senior finance staff on ad hoc tasks and projects.
What Were Looking For:
- Someone who can hit the ground running.
- Proven experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar financial role.
- Solid understanding of financial and accounting procedures.
- Experience using standard accounting software (NAV Business Central is preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other common IT applications.
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
- Strong communication skills with a flexible solution-focused attitude.
- High levels of accuracy discretion and cost awareness.
