Job Description

Job Opportunity: Part-Time Finance Officer


Location: Fulham Football Club Foundation


Hours: 35 hours per week (part-time)


As a Finance Officer you will provide essential financial and administrative support to colleagues clients and stakeholders across the organisation. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and maintaining the integrity of our financial data.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records process invoices credit notes and purchase orders.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable perform bank reconciliations and track daily transactions.
  • Handle company credit card and petty cash transactions in line with internal policies.
  • Reconcile payroll mobile phone usage and staff expenses including credit and Oyster cards.
  • Prepare and post month-end journals to support the production of management accounts.
  • Support financial audits through preparation of documentation and timely responses to queries.
  • Ensure financial systems are kept up to date and assist with the review and implementation of financial policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments provide excellent customer service and support senior finance staff on ad hoc tasks and projects.



What Were Looking For:

  • Someone who can hit the ground running.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar financial role.
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting procedures.
  • Experience using standard accounting software (NAV Business Central is preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other common IT applications.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with a flexible solution-focused attitude.
  • High levels of accuracy discretion and cost awareness.
