Location: Crawley (with regular travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays)
Salary: up to 38k commission company annual bonus Company Car
About the Role:
Join the business as a Key Account Manager where youll play a pivotal role in managing and growing relationships with key distribution network partners. This role combines strategic account management with solution-based selling and offers a unique mix of office-based field-based and industry-facing responsibilities.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with a portfolio of key distribution accounts
- Drive sales revenue by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Understand customer needs and align technical solutions accordingly leveraging your knowledge of hardware and network systems
- Report on key metrics forecasts and sales progress to both internal and external stakeholders
- Achieve sales targets KPIs and customer engagement goals
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events showcasing products and strengthening brand awareness
- Work closely with internal teams (Technical Support Production Marketing Finance) to ensure smooth customer experiences
- Support account administration: order processing quotes new account setup
- Monitor market activity and competitor trends to inform strategy
- Provide insights and feedback to the Innovation team to drive R&D
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve challenges promptly and professionally
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Key Account Manager or similar B2B sales role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical aptitude
- Customer-first mindset and a proactive approach
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and working independently
- Confident presenting to clients and delivering product demonstrations
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK including overnight stays as needed
- Full UK driving license
- Right to work in the UK
