Talented People are hiring a Key Account Manager on behalf of a growing business based in Crawley!

Location: Crawley (with regular travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays)
Salary: up to 38k commission company annual bonus Company Car

About the Role:

Join the business as a Key Account Manager where youll play a pivotal role in managing and growing relationships with key distribution network partners. This role combines strategic account management with solution-based selling and offers a unique mix of office-based field-based and industry-facing responsibilities.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with a portfolio of key distribution accounts
  • Drive sales revenue by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Understand customer needs and align technical solutions accordingly leveraging your knowledge of hardware and network systems
  • Report on key metrics forecasts and sales progress to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Achieve sales targets KPIs and customer engagement goals
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events showcasing products and strengthening brand awareness
  • Work closely with internal teams (Technical Support Production Marketing Finance) to ensure smooth customer experiences
  • Support account administration: order processing quotes new account setup
  • Monitor market activity and competitor trends to inform strategy
  • Provide insights and feedback to the Innovation team to drive R&D
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve challenges promptly and professionally

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a Key Account Manager or similar B2B sales role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Customer-first mindset and a proactive approach
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and working independently
  • Confident presenting to clients and delivering product demonstrations
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the UK including overnight stays as needed
  • Full UK driving license
  • Right to work in the UK
