Distribution Development Account Manager

SKF is recognized worldwide in the industrial bearing sector for its innovation quality and enduring commitment to supporting essential industries. We are looking for a Distribution Development Account Manager to enhance our partnerships and promote business advancement through our distributor network.

As the Distribution Development Account Manager you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with selected SKFs distributor partners and end customers in the assigned territory part of Romania. This essential sales position enhances our expansion by improving distributor relationships boosting sales and guaranteeing that all efforts align with SKFs high standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Distributor Account Management: Build cultivate and expand strong relationships with authorized Industrial distribution partners in Romania ensuring each partners growth strategy aligns with SKFs objectives.
  • Sales Acceleration: Design and implement action plans to reach volume revenue and growth targets in collaboration with your assigned distributor partners and end users in assigned area. Provide operational guidance and collaboratively implement digital transformation and channel optimization.
  • Market Intelligence & Analysis: Regularly analyze customer trends distributor performance competitor activities and new opportunities within the industrial sector to anticipate market shifts and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Project Coordination: Manage or engage in local and regional initiatives focused on improving distribution processes including logistics improvements profitability strategies certified partner programs and transformation efforts.
  • Internal & External Communication: Be a key connection between SKF stakeholders and distributor partners as well as SKF end customers while ensuring transparent and professional communication.
  • On-the-Road Engagement: Spend a minimum of three days per week traveling to visit SKF Authorized distributors and end customers in assigned area of Romania ensuring personal support relationship building and onsite strategy execution.
  • CRM Excellence: Maintain strict timely and accurate records of all distributor and customer interactions in SKFs CRM system leveraging these insights to inform business planning and measure sales effectiveness.

We expect you to have

  • Sales Experience: basic understanding of B2B sales channel development or account management is vital; practical knowledge of distributor-led business models is looked upon favorably.
  • Technical Aptitude: Engineering or technical background is preferred but not mandatory; demonstrated ability to grasp and communicate complex technical solutions with confidence.
  • Relationship Management: Proficient interpersonal negotiation and customer-facing skills; skilled at developing trust and influence at all levels of partner organizations.
  • Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to structure work manage multiple priorities and deliver results in an evolving business landscape.
  • Digital & CRM Fluency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and an interest in learning CRM platform; openness to embracing digital tools and evolving sales practices in the field.
  • Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English and Romanianboth written and spokenis required.
  • Travel Commitment: B category driving license and readiness to travel actively throughout Romania minimum 3 days a week.

This position will preferably located in Bucharest Romania but we are as well open for candidates from west and south part of Romania. Local contract in SKF Romania SRL.
