General Responsibilities:
Define and implement customers strategy for the Americas region in order to meet the company targets in terms of growth & profitability. Support Global Customer Line Manager Strategy.

The Ideal candidate will:
Key Competencies: Good knowledge of the automotive market knowledge of manufacturing processes and technical understanding ability to develop a regional customer strategy strong ability to work in a multicultural environment excellent customer focus solid financial acumen strong technical negotiation skills ability to lead a cross-functional team (including Application Engineering Sales and Project Management) fluent English proficiency and intermediate proficiency in German.
Additionally the ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as are strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with PCs and application software such as MS Office tools is also required.
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Business Studies or related field
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in the Automotive industry at Tier 1 level Experience working with European OEMs is preferred

Working conditions:
Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Travel: Domestic and international may be required as needed. The candidate will occasionally need to travel to multiple global locations to support project development.
