Job Description
Project Scope: CA Clarity Portfolio Management Azure DevOps MS Visio Microsoft 365 Services SharePoint Online MS Teams Agile Methodologies. Oakland County is seeking an experienced project manager for a longterm engagement 3 to 4 years or more to join the Application & Client Services team.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale platform modernization projects.
- Oversee RFPs contract/scope development infrastructure upgrades application enhancements and new development.
- Implement COTS/vendor applications with multiple integrations.
- Identify technical approaches and manage the system development process.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams interacting at all levels.
- Advocate for change communicate project value navigate individual viewpoints and build consensus.
- Manage tasks and resources related to support maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
- Ensure flexibility to meet deadlines set by internal and external agencies.
- Utilize tools such as CA Clarity Portfolio Management Azure DevOps MS Visio Microsoft 365 Services SharePoint Online and MS Teams within an Agile methodology framework.
Mandatory Skills:
- An experienced project manager for a long term engagement 3 to 4 years or more to join the Application & Client Services team.
- The ideal candidate must have large scale platform modernization experience and at least 5 years of agile experience and is hands-on self-starter and team player possessing both technical and interpersonal skills.
- Must be flexible and able to meet deadlines set by internal and external agencies to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
- Must possess high level understanding in the areas of project management methodology web application programming content management systems API database and system design.
- Identification of the technical approach to be used on a given project and manage the system development process. Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including developers product owners and subject matter experts. Advocate for change and effectively communicate project value including navigating individual viewpoints and building consensus.
- Under supervision the project manager will be a key contributor supporting our applications and must have experience managing a variety of projects including request for proposals (RFPs) contract/scope development infrastructure upgrades application enhancements and new development and implementation of COTS/vendor applications with multiple integrations.
Desirable Skills: .
- Experience with CA Clarity Portfolio Management Azure DevOps MS Visio Microsoft 365 Services SharePoint Online and MS Teams.
- Familiarity with managing COTS/vendor application implementations and integrations.
- Proven ability to advocate for change and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
