Profile Description

Were seeking someone to join our team as (Director) Scrum Master / Service Delivery Manager to continue to foster this environment and provide Scrum Master (SM)/Service Delivery Manager (SDM) services to squads within WTS. The SM/SDM role coaches the Delivery team and the product owner on the Agile process such as writing useful user stories and managing the backlog. They also work with resources outside of the squad to remove impediments shielding them from bureaucracy. More importantly they coach and foster a collaborative culture and ensure the team regularly celebrates success.

Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of Morgan Stanleys software development lifecycle enabling productive coding functional and integration testing application releases and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop mobile voice video productivity intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of employees. Application and end user functions are delivered on a scalable secure and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter network compute cloud storage and database functions.

Technical Program Management

This is Director position that oversees and leads the execution of multiple projects and/or programs working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Includes program management and related project support roles.

What youll do in the role:

• Remove blockers and obstacles
• Bring together stakeholders for alignment meeting
• Organize training
• Report on squad improvements
• Facilitate retrospective to improve team dynamics
• Setup and help maintain physical or virtual squad room
• Be aware of overall progress of squad execution and delivery against Fleet level

What youll bring to the role:

• 5 year experience in either technical or Scrum Master / Service Delivery Manager role guiding teams and facilitating meeting ceremonies
• At least 4 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
• Working knowledge of Jira System
• Understanding of the Agile Mindset Frameworks and continuous delivery practices
• Good technical understanding is a must as candidate would be working with squads
  for Office development tools (Microsoft Office product suites) catering to all employees and clients of MS.
• The requirement demands highly on day-to-day work management and managing large projects for the squad.

• Strong sense of commitment and drive towards problem resolution
• Use of initiative and proactive approach to work
• Experience of working in a fast paced changing environment
• Maturity to be able to execute job functions with minimal guidance

Projects Skills:

Self-starter with good interpersonal skills to facilitate working with end-users and another IT colleagues.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Professional ownership of issues

Good organizational skills: Ability to plan and prioritize

Nice to Have

• Project management experience or certification (ex. PMP)
• Experience working in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments
