Job Title: Datacenter Manager Location: Las Vegas NV (Onsite 2 days/week at local data center remainder onsite at corporate office) Type: Contract-to-Hire Industry: Gaming & Hospitality (Gaming license required reimbursable) Overview: Fusion HCR is seeking a Datacenter Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a major national casino. This is a hands-on technical role focused on managing datacenter operations including UPS systems low-voltage infrastructure switches cabling and power distribution. This position does not include direct reports but requires senior-level expertise in datacenter environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the datacenter with a focus on uptime organization and efficiency
Manage and maintain power systems including UPS installations and routine battery replacements (every 5 years)
Perform rack and stack operations cable management and switch installation
Ensure proper low-voltage infrastructure is in place to support growing network and server demands
Monitor environmental conditions and power utilization
Coordinate equipment moves and changes in the datacenter environment
Regularly travel (reimbursed) to the Rainbow data center location at least twice per week
Required Qualifications:
5 years of hands-on datacenter experience in an enterprise or casino environment
Strong understanding of power infrastructure and UPS systems
Experience with low-voltage engineering cabling standards and switch installation
Able to manage physical infrastructure independently (rack/stack/cabling)
Must be able to obtain a Nevada gaming license (cost reimbursed)
Ability to lift equipment and work in physically demanding environments
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the gaming hospitality or regulated industries
Prior work managing or maintaining multiple datacenter locations
Knowledge of structured cabling standards and datacenter best practices
