About the Role:

As a Fleet Business Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing your fleet portfolio end-to-end and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth delivery of vehicles to our corporate clients. This role primarily involves working closely with fleet customers from purchase through to handover and collaborating with the fleet sales team to meet dealership commitments.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and coordinate the delivery and collection of fleet vehicles from off-site suppliers.
  • Coordinate with the Group Fleet Sales Manager to meet and Manufacturers Sales Standards and dealership commitments.
  • Schedule and manage fleet delivery and collection appointments ensuring timely and efficient handovers.
  • Communicate with fleet customers throughout the delivery process including handover process addressing any questions or concerns and providing updates as needed.
  • Liaise with the Fleet Vehicle Sales Team and other relevant departments to ensure that all contractual commitments and pre-delivery requirements are met before the delivery.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to drive efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment resolving any issues or discrepancies as they arise.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly including delivery forms vehicle registrations and customer contracts.
  • Verify that all pre-delivery inspections and preparations are completed to meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Deliver vehicles in a manner that exceeds customer expectations providing personalised service and attention to detail.
  • Ensure a smooth and enjoyable delivery experience by managing all aspects of the handover process with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain accurate records of all delivery-related activities including vehicle handovers customer interactions and completed documentation.
  • Liaise with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in assigned training.

About You:

  • 2 years in similar role preferred but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems
  • Capability to maintain a professional attitude in all communication with stakeholders i.e. phone email and face to face
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines
  • Be punctual reliable adaptable & flexible.
  • Current and valid drivers license and the ability to drive a manual transmission
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of a fleet/Dealership operation is highly regarded
  • Proven dealership or fleet experience with a highly developed knowledge of the automotive industry is advantageous
