About The Role:
The Floyd Light SUN Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Schools Uniting Neighborhoods (SUN) Community School program at their given site. SUN is a partnership between Multnomah County the School District and El Programa Hispano collaboration with the school principal staff family leadership team and community the Site Manager will develop school-based programs addressing academics enrichment recreation and social service needs.
Essential Duties:
- Contract Oversight & Management
- Design and implement the SUN Community School Extended-Day and Summer programming at the assigned school aligning services of community partners school-led and SUN activities into one comprehensive model.
- Develop culturally diverse core services to address academic enrichment recreation leadership and social service needs.
- Support the layered services at Highland SUN CS such as Food Pantry.
- Lead the Family Leadership Parent Team meetings.
- Lead community and family engagement outreach efforts at the school (i.e. Back to School Night Family Nights etc).
- Develop improvement plans to adjust program delivery as necessary.
- Oversee school site budget for program expenditures.
- Data and Records.
- Complete accurate data entry and recordkeeping (databases electronic and paper files) as required by law funders and EPHC.
- Ensure all participant intakes assessments service plans etc. adhere to State Federal and EPHC standards/guidelines of service-delivery and Code of Ethics.
- Organize and maintain records documentation and reports as required by agency partners and funders
- Attend scheduled program meetings with funders school districts and community.
Partnerships & Collaboration
- Build strengthen and maintain strong professional relationships with school administration community partners and the community.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all after school activities at the assigned school.
- Maintain effective coordination and communication with assigned funder liaison and related staff.
General Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee recruitment hiring training and evaluation of temporary activity leaders.
- Supervise and support staff professional development.
- Attend required program organizational and funder meetings.
- Ensure EPHCs policies and procedures are communicated and followed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by program supervisor.
Qualifications And Requirements:
- Must be bilingual (Spanish/English) and biculturally responsive.
- Ability to communicate concisely and effectively both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English.
- Associates Degree in public service social work education or related field or similar field preferred.
- Education or curriculum development experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children youth and/or families required.
- Experience and knowledge working with and organizing in Latinx/Communities of Color.
- Ability to demonstrate strong supervisory and coaching skills.
- Demonstrate judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and working knowledge of Zoom GoogleMeets Teams etc.
- Must be able to organize/prioritize work be proactive take initiative follow through and have a high attention to detail
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and in team setting; adapt well to dynamic work environment.
Other Requirements:
- Must be available to work afterschool-hours 3-6:30pm
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which could include weekends.
- Occasional travel for trainings community partner meetings and funder meetings.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Must have drivers license access to vehicle and automobile insurance at levels required by agency (100/300/100).
- Satisfactory results from civil criminal and motor vehicle background check required.
Compensation: Salary of $53000.00 (annually).
Location & Typical Working Conditions: This position is based at Floyd Light Middle School. Job duties may require occasional travel and evening and weekend work depending on program needs.
School On-Site & Community (80% of time)
- Lead Extended Day Program after school support school team meet with families lead afterschool events attend in-person trainings community partner meetings and funder meetings.
EPHC in-office (10% of time)
- In office work is located at EPHCs office in Gresham OR and is required for staff meetings department meetings community events and other additional duties requiring in office work.
Remote from home (10% of time)
- This position may allow remote work from home for administrative tasks such as data entry expense report submission funder report writing and some community partner and work-related virtual meetings. Note: Remote work is dependent on performance and may be revoked at supervisors discretion.
