About the role:

Were seeking a trusted and strategic Comms & Engagement Lead to shape drive and embed an impactful internal engagement strategy for Home Claims Customers. This role will lead the end-to-end transformation of our internal communication and engagement approaches to get cut through with our people. This will involve streamlining channels elevating storytelling and amplifying the voice and brand of both the Home Claims function and its Executive General Manager (EGM).

The ideal candidate will be a proactive strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity brings clarity to complexity has a sense of humour and has the confidence to challenge the status quo. Theyll lead through influence drive high-impact outcomes with cross-functional stakeholders and ensure messaging lands with our frontline leaders and team members. This role is critical in positioning the EGM and HCC as clear consistent and compelling voices.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategy Development & Leadership

  • Design and execute a comprehensive internal engagement strategy aligned to Home Claims objectives and customer experience goals.
  • Lead a full review and redesign of internal communication and engagement channels to drive simplicity clarity and effectiveness.
  • Develop a refreshed internal brand for HCC and the EGM ensuring strong alignment with external communications including public events industry awards and LinkedIn presence.
  • Craft powerful narratives and storytelling to foster connection shared purpose and alignment to strategy across all levels of the business.
  • Ensure all communications are fit-for-purpose engaging and aligned to strategic outcomesespecially when targeting frontline leaders and team members.

Operational Execution

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leaders and stakeholders guiding them through effective communication and engagement planning.
  • Deliver clear compelling and tailored communication materials for various audiences upholding a high standard of quality and consistency.
  • Manage a dynamic content pipeline and communication calendar to ensure timely relevant updates and storytelling across platforms.
  • Provide hands-on support for executive communications including briefings event materials talking points and campaign content.

Integration & Enablement

  • Build strong influential relationships across teams to drive engagement and ensure initiatives land with impact.
  • Regularly assess channel effectiveness and engagement outcomes using feedback and data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Coach and support team members and stakeholders to uplift capability in strategic engagement and change communications.
  • Maintain oversight of all internal comms to ensure consistency of tone clarity of message and alignment to strategic goals.

About You:

  • Large scale Change and engagement delivery
  • Preferably experience in Financial Services / Insurance
  • Internal and external communications experience.
