Job Description
Project Scope: The Project Manager with 6 or more years of experience performs advanced levels of project manager work under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Familiar working with Agile framework and project management skills. This individual will work with a wide range of team members including senior leadership throughout the agency.
Roles/Responsibilities:
This individual will work with a wide range of team members including senior leadership throughout the agency.
Mandatory Skills:
- 6 years of product and project leading experience on projects with multiple stakeholders and integrations
- 6 years of managing projects with enterprise content management solutions
- 6 years of experience with direct project management experience
- 6 years of experience working with state budget and expense tracking
- Willingness and availability to work outside the regular work hours as needed to support project needs.
- Expertise in working across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to connect with a variety of audiences.
- Prior experience developing contract-related documents contract management and cost monitoring.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with managing and leading projects on Alfresco including maintaining and implementing enhancements
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
- Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) preferred.
- 3 years of TEA Experience: Prefer 3 years of experience with TEA or other state agencies. Existing familiarity with TEAs standard practices and procedures for leading projects
- 3 years of Agile/Scrum participation: Experience with Agile software development and release methodologies preferred.
- 3 years familiarity with Alfresco Share customization and AMP packaging
