The Infection and Immunity in pediatric patients research group is a multidisciplinary pediatric research group made up of health professionals involved in translational research in the field of pediatric infectious diseases and immunodeficiencies two related fields in terms of pathophysiology and clinical implications. It is a consolidated research group recognized by the AGAUR and is the only one with the accreditation of the Jeffrey Modell Foundation in research in the field of primary immunodeficiencies throughout the state.
The group was officially created in 2010 belongs to the area of Infectious Diseases and participates in the transversal programs of Advanced Translational Immunology and Rare Diseases and actively participates in national and international competitive projects carries out multiple academic and industry-linked clinical trials and has increased the number and quality in recent addition it has its own laboratory specially dedicated to advanced immune studies.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Graduate in Health Sciences. Priority will be given to applications with specialized training in the clinical and health fields and previous similar experience.
- Good command of English Spanish and Catalan is also required.
Desired:
- Specific training in Clinical Trial Monitoring will be valued.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Experience in Database Management and Data Entry.
- Experience in providing support to CRAs activities and managing lab samples.
- Experience in coordinating local national and international Research Projects.
Desired:
- Experience in Research Institutions and/or in Project Management within biotech and/or scientific environments.
- Experience within the research area of the group.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Support to national and international research projects and management of competitive research calls proactively seeking to attract new research funding opportunities.
- Data entry of clinical trials.
- Support the research group with the management of technical and administrative tasks.
- Link between the research group and the administrative structure of the Institution.
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: 38.000 - 40.000 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
