Our Mission

At Terra One were scaling renewable energy infrastructure by advancing battery storage technology and AI-powered energy trading across Europe. Our storage systems ensure clean energy is available exactly when its needed reducing CO emissions and enhancing grid stability. At the same time our proprietary trading models maximize the efficient use of green electricity in real time. To support this mission were looking for a motivated working student or Intern whos eager to apply data skills to one of the biggest challenges in Germany.

Your Responsibilities

You will support our Grid Connection & Storage Systems team in the planning and design of battery storage systems with a focus on electrical integration and grid connection. Your tasks include:

  1. Preparing technical documents
  2. Supporting conversations with grid operators
  3. Reviewing connection requirements.
  4. Youll also contribute to the layout and design of electrical components and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Who Were Looking For

Youre currently enrolled in a program like:

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Renewable Energy Systems
  • Automation or Control Engineering
  • Or another comparable engineering program with a focus on electrical infrastructure or energy systems

We value:

  • A hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset
  • Clear communication and team collaboration
  • The ability to work independently and stay organized
  • A sense of ownership and drive for impact
  • Fluent in German and English both verbally and in writing

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Based in Berlin
  • Familiarity with German energy sector terms

Working Hours

The working student role is part-time (20 hours/week) while the internship position is full-time (40 hours/week).
