We are delighted to offer a flexible permanent position for a KS1 or KS2 Class Teacher at a thriving high-performing primary school in South Ockendon Essex starting January 2026. This role is open to both full-time and part-time applicants with the potential for a TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate.

The Role

• Position: KS1 or KS2 Class Teacher (Year group flexible based on experience)
• Location: South Ockendon Essex
• Start Date: January 2026
• Contract: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time considered
• TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate

You will:

• Teach a well-supported class in KS1 or KS2 delivering high-quality engaging lessons
• Foster independence creativity and curiosity in your pupils
• Contribute to a collaborative year group partnership and wider school initiatives
• Support pupils academic progress and personal development through effective assessment and planning
• Build positive relationships with pupils families and colleagues
• (If applicable) Take on responsibility for a subject or phase contributing to curriculum development and staff confidence

What Were Looking For

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in KS1 or KS2
• A reflective passionate practitioner who puts children at the heart of everything they do
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
• Excellent communication organisation and interpersonal skills
• A team player who contributes to a positive inclusive school culture
• ECTs and experienced teachers are equally welcome to apply
• Ambition to grow professionally and (if desired) take on additional responsibility
