Job Description
- Location: Gardendale AL 35071
- Weekly Pay: $1944 - $2088
- Duration: 7 weeks
- Shift: 12-hr Nights 7pm-7:30am
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our healthcare team in Gardendale AL on a contract basis. The RN Supervisor will oversee nursing staff during the night shift ensuring high-quality patient care adherence to policies and smooth unit operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on the night shift (7 PM 7:30 AM)
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations policies and procedures
- Provide direct patient care as needed and oversee clinical duties
- Manage patient admissions discharges and transfers
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care
- Act as a resource and mentor for nursing staff
- Address and resolve any clinical or staffing issues that arise during the shift
- Ensure documentation is complete and accurate
- Participate in shift reports and communicate effectively with other supervisors
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care long-term care or supervisory setting
- At least 1 year of leadership or charge nurse experience
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (may be preferred or required)
