Job Description

This role encompasses two core responsibilities: Commercial Leadership and Country General Management.

Commercial Leadership:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to accelerate growth expand market share and ensure sustainable profitability for the CLM cluster

  • Oversee all commercial functions including sales strategy onboarding expansion partner care and account management driving initiatives to grow market share order volume and customer base.

  • Establish and maintain a competitive pricing policy and develop business solutions to achieve profitability.

  • Lead commercial performance management including setting sales targets and metrics monitoring activities using key metrics (e.g. SQL) and providing regular forecasts and financial reports to senior management.

  • Manage commercial financial performance assisting in setting targets budget development and monitoring for profitable outcomes.

Country General Management

  • Full P&L ownership and accountability for the Cambodia cluster driving overall financial performance managing costs and optimizing revenue streams to achieve profitability targets.

  • Lead and scale high-performing cross-functional teams across Cambodia fostering a strong culture of excellence accountability and collaboration throughout the organization.

  • Oversee overall country operations and performance ensuring all local functions (including but not limited to commercial operations and support teams) are aligned efficient and contribute to the countrys strategic objectives.

  • Drive local market adaptation translating regional strategies into effective in-country plans that consider Cambodias unique environment and consumer needs.

  • Cultivate and manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders including local authorities partners and vendors while ensuring seamless cross-functional coordination.

  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant local laws regulations and company policies across all country operations while maintaining high service levels and operational quality.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelor / masters degree in Business Administration Economics Marketing Management or a related quantitative field (A Masters degree e.g. MBA is highly preferred).
  • Highly analytical with exceptional data management skills coupled with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proven track record managing complex matrix organizations with people management experience leading and scaling similar sized teams (e.g. 30 indirect reports) in dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive P&L performance and make data-driven decisions that impact bottom-line results.
  • A background in management consultancy would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience in the food delivery or e-commerce industry would be highly advantageous.
  • MUST: Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • MUST: Very good understanding of the Cambodian market regulatory environment and cultural nuances.
  • MUST: Strong understanding and relationship-building experience with local business partners and government stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-pressure and constantly evolving startup or tech environment.
  • Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to build consensus across various internal and external stakeholders.
