Job Description
We are looking for an Analytics Engineer (m/f/d) who will take full ownership of our supply data and turn it into reliable ready-for-analysis datasets. Youll partner with Data Scientists Analysts and Supply stakeholders to make sure everyone works from the same clean source of truth
At Supply Data Solutions we build end-to-end data-driven decision-making tools. These solutions work in sync to guide daily operations in the Supply Unit at ABOUT YOU supporting Pricing & Steering Demand Planning and Inventory Management.
What you will do
- Identify overlapping data needs across forecasts optimisation and reporting and create reusable mart tables.
- Simplify existing transformations so downstream teams never rebuild the same logic.
- Build and monitor pipelines (Python GCP) and keep them healthy.
- Document everything - schemas lineage and data contracts.
- Guard the platform: manage IAM roles data-access boundaries cost monitoring performance tuning and data validity checks.
- Mentor junior analysts and raise SQL skills across the whole Supply.
Who you are
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong SQL (window functions CTEs performance tuning).
- Python for ETL / orchestration.
- Hands-on with CI/CD Git and GCP / BigQuery.
- Proven record turning messy operational data into governed analytics layers.
- Comfortable working with both data scientists and analysts.
Nice to have
- Dagster or dbt.
- AWS (Batch Lambda Step Functions).
- Supply-chain / logistics domain knowledge.
- Experience with data catalog / observability tools.
