Job Role: Assistant Manager (Retail)

Salary: 4762 per year (FTE 23810)
Hours: 7.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Bath (Walcot Street)

As Assistant Manager youll be a key player in the smooth running of our vibrant charity shop in Walcot Street. Youll support the Shop Manager in driving performance working alongside our dedicated volunteers and helping to create an inspiring community-focused retail environment.

Whether youre looking to develop your leadership skills or gain hands-on experience in managing a shop this role offers the support and growth potential to help you thrive.

What Youll Be Doing

• Supporting the Shop Manager in delivering strong sales meeting targets and ensuring the shop is a success story in the community.
• Managing donationsfrom sorting and pricing to creating eye-catching displays and responsibly handling unsellable items.
• Helping to recruit train and lead a brilliant team of volunteers ensuring the shop is always welcoming and well-staffed.
• Assisting with all shop admin and financial procedures including cash handling and banking.

What Were Looking For:

• Some experience in a retail environment.
• A friendly proactive approach and a passion for great customer service.
• A willingness to learn and grow into a leadership role.
