Sydney Trains Tangara fleet makes up a quarter of our suburban rail fleet. To ensure its longevity the Tangara Fleet Life Extension project will upgrade operating systems modernise onboard passenger information systems and enhance accessibility features for mobility-impaired passengers. The project will also help build our future workforce capabilities strengthen local economies and support the long-term growth of NSWs transportation industry.
In this role youll:
- Lead and manage the Supply Chain & Planning team on the Tangara Fleet Life Extension project to ensure that day to day materials planning and procurement activities align with required service levels financial budgets and strategic objectives.
- Identify develop and support internal processes in relation to the planning and use of Inventory within Sydney Trains on the TFLE project
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with the TFLE internal and external stakeholders as required to facilitate the two-way exchange of information as required.

About you
You are a tertiary qualified professional in supply chain logistics or similar area or have demonstrated experience in these fields.
You have experience managing developing and leading teams in a complicated logistics setting
You have experience working with SAP or similar supply planning software
