Job Description:
Aerojet Rocketdyne an L3Harris Technologies Segment is seeking a Production Control team member to join our growing facility in Camden Arkansas. Under general supervision and following established policies and procedures Production Control supports Operations and performs professional assignments requiring general use and application of concepts practice & techniques.
Manages components to support manufacturing schedule using internal ERP system (Oracle) to maintain inventory control. Reports issues to supervision for further escalation of the issues.
Performs move orders to move inventory to production areas and communicates with various COEs to ensure operations has everything needed for the assembly.
Performs kitting operations as well as Material Supermarket management for inventory control.
Performs physical counts and floor walks to ensure inventory accuracy.
Identifies and communicates concerns and issues potential to production impacts. Works with the team to develop a solution to minimize the impact. Relays information to team members and management.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Analytical thinking and problem solving skills is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-function/cross-site teams.
Production Scheduling or Capacity Planning experience or demonstrated willingness to learn desired.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and Oracle.
