Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your **cloud and compute infrastructure management** expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside **collaborative and forward-thinking** teammates.

Youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe delivery of innovative technology changes and enabling stable secure and reliable infrastructure services. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (e.g. suppliers IT functional areas and business partners) lead the resolution of major infrastructure challenges and contribute to cost optimization strategies among other responsibilities.

Youll specifically take care of **planning and maintaining infrastructure for compute and cloud hosting services** but also **collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with disaster recovery and business continuity policies**.

Well look to you for:

• Coordinating with suppliers for provisioning installation configuration and maintenance of infrastructure hosting for Alstom applications.

• Ensuring overall service delivery and tracking solutions to align with business requirements.

• Leading the resolution of major infrastructure issues and implementing effective problem-resolution systems.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize projects and implement system plans that meet strategic objectives.

• Driving efficiency and reducing operating costs of infrastructure through innovation and optimization exercises.

• Providing clear communication of change activities and outage events to peers and senior leadership.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Science or Technology.

• At least 8 years of experience in IT with expertise in IT infrastructure technology and operations delivery.

• Competency in infrastructure hosting services and functions.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of ITIL/Infra Operations processes and frameworks.

• Proficiency in MS Azure cloud technology including services like IaaS PaaS storage and networks.

• Experience with Azure Virtual Machines Load Balancer Application Gateway Functions and managed databases (SQL MySQL).

• Ability to provide cost optimization suggestions and proposals for cloud resource remediation activities.

• Strong communication skills and ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.

• ITIL certification and AZ-104 (or higher) certification are desirable.

• Knowledge of AKS cluster setup and administration is a plus.
