Job Description

Business Development Manager (Aberdeen/Houston)

A leading global oil & gas and energy services company headquartered in Houston Texas and operating predominantly in the drilling rig FPSO and offshore renewables markets is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to lead sales efforts and drive revenue growth across the North Sea and Europe regions. This position is based out of their Aberdeen office.

As the BD Manager you will be at the forefront of driving new business and managing existing customers with a hunger for achieving targets and hunting for new business whilst maintaining an ever-growing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting and New Business Development:

Utilise a proactive and strategic approach to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas FPSO and Renewables industries.

Develop and implement effective prospecting and lead generation strategies.

Client Acquisition:

Actively engage with existing and potential clients understanding the project requirements and presenting tailored technical and commercial solutions.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

Sales Target Achievement:

Set and exceed ambitious sales targets demonstrating a high level of drive and persistence.

Consistently meet and surpass quarterly and annual revenue goals.

Market Intelligence:

Stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and emerging opportunities.

Provide valuable insights to contribute to the continuous improvement of sales strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach.

Communicate market feedback to support service enhancements and developments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or its equivalent in Business Administration Sales Marketing or commensurate experience in lieu of this.
  • Proven experience in sales account management or business development preferably within the Oil and Gas and Energy Industry.
