Our Client:
Universal Music Group a premier multinational music corporation operates a broad array of businesses engaged in recorded music music publishing merchandising and audiovisual content in more than 60 countries.
Location:New York NY
Hours:9:30am-6pm full-time in office
Duration:3-6 months but could convert to perm! (W-2 Only)
Pay:$23-25/hour depending on experience

Who were looking for:
We are seeking a Warehouse Receiving & Inventory Coordinator to support our merchandise operations by ensuring accurate inventory counts compliance with packing and labeling standards and on-time processing in coordination with our third-party warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail excellent organizational skills and experience in warehouse receiving and inventory management.

You will be working within the Bravado group this is the only global 360 degree full service merchandise company that develops and markets high-quality licensed merchandise to a world-wide audience. The company works closely with new and established entertainment clients creating innovative products carefully tailored to each artist or brand. Product is sold on live tours via selected retail outlets and through Web-based stores. Under the Universal Music Group umbrella Bravado is able to leverage a global sales and distribution network from the worlds largest record company as well as the groups significant marketing strength.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and report on inventory accuracy stock levels and receiving status to internal teams.
- Assist in resolving inventory variances by reconciling warehouse reports with internal inventory data.
- Support cycle counts and periodic inventory reconciliations as needed.
- Conduct inventory audits to verify quantities received against packing lists and system records.
- Ensure merchandise is properly labeled packed and organized according to company compliance standards.
- Work with warehouse partners to ensure all received inventory is systemically ingested and available for fulfillment in a timely manner.
- Verify and ensure correct SKU labeling and barcoding to avoid discrepancies in inventory management systems.
- Escalate any discrepancies damages or non-compliance issues to the Operations Manager for resolution.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 13 years of inventory management or logistics experience (merchandise or retail industry preferred).
- Strong understanding of inventory control processes and SKU tracking.
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) is a plus.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed during inventory tasks.
- Occasional overtime based on inventory demands.
Education:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
