Electronics Subsystem I&T Engineer Architect:
- Interact with space avionics subsystem design teams (electrical mechanical software and network) to plan implement and execute test campaigns for subsystem development qualification and acceptance testing
- Develop AI&T campaigns plans and procedures including developing schedule identifying resources defining test architecture and approach providing detailed test flow
- Define and architect electrical ground support equipment needed to support the unit under test.
- Procure test support equipment and facilities (include environmental testing facilities for thermal vacuum vibration and EMI/EMC testing) by interacting with vendors and supply chain to procure test support equipment.
- Develop test events and detailed test descriptions and procedures to support subsystem requirement verifications.
- Create test scripts to automate testing and link telemetry to existing tools using APIs (SCPI programming)
- Assemble and integrate subsystem-under-test and support equipment (hardware software test scripts data logger and user interface tools) and execute tests per approved test plans and procedures. Summarize and present test results and finding to Engineering teams.
- Perform failure / anomaly investigations of a test case to determine its root cause
- Familiarity with space hardware environmental testing standards such as SMC-S-016 NASAs GSFC-STD-7000 MIL-STD-461G
