Responsible for the daily enforcement of parking policies as set by the Parking and Transportation Committee. Works varied hours which may include days evenings holidays and weekends with rotating days off. Assists with fleet vehicles as needed. May assist as cashier at patient/visitor ramps - handles patient inquiries; completes multiple cash transactions in a fast paced setting; records daily revenue activity; works alone in a small confined booth with exposure to hot and cold temperatures vehicle exhaust high level of dust and excessive noise and direct sun exposure. Will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment. Performs other duties as required. Requires the ability to bend and stoop frequently and must have full use of both hands. Must be able to walk up to 50% of shift. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous customer service and cash handling experience is preferred. Previous experience as a ramp attendant preferred. Must be able to work independently. Requires good communication and human relations skills to effectively interact with staff visitors and patients. Strong problem solving skills are necessary to adapt to unpredictable and emergency situations. Basic computer skills be able to clearly speak write and understand the English language as well as being understood while speaking the English language. Must possess good communication skills strong math and computer skills and display mature judgment and good problem solving abilities. Must possess a valid Minnesota drivers license.
