Job Description
Come join our team as a Behavioral Health Tech at Sonora Behavioral Health the Leading Behavioral Health Hospital in Tucson Arizona. If you are passionate and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those in need through compassionate therapeutic practices while working in a team environment that supports learning and growth this position may be right for you! Successful candidates will have a level one fingerprint clearance card and be willing and able to work 11am-11:30 pm (12-hour shifts) Wednesday Thursday Friday.
As a BHT at Sonora you will participate in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans by:
- Providing care close supervision and accurate documentation of patient behavior
- Maintaining a safety first environment
- Developing positive relationships with patients and co-workers
- Following facility policies and procedures and providing crisis intervention as necessary
- Actively participating in treatment teams
- Acting as a role model using appropriate de-escalation skills active listening skills appropriate tone and voice volume providing a variety of positive reinforcements maintaining proper boundaries and promoting positive peer culture
