Job Description
Job Title: Nursing Director Behavioral Health
Job Location: Natick Massachusetts

Job Description:

Provides leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for all nursing and patient care functions.
-
Assists with assessing planning coordinating implementing and evaluating nursing practice across multiple units.
-
Holds 24/7 responsibility for assigned departments or service areas.
-
Ensures high-quality safe and effective patient care while managing clinical staff competency and resource utilization.
-
Acts as a role model and advocate for professional nursing practice.
Responsibilities:

Must have an active RN license in the state of practice.

Demonstrates strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Proven ability to manage hospital operations effectively.
-
Promotes teamwork and professional development among staff nurses.
Qualifications
-
Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Bachelors in a healthcare-related field OR Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Masters in a healthcare-related field.
Experience:
Required
-
Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience (as a Manager or Charge Nurse) in a hospital setting.
-
Minimum 2 years of psychiatric/behavioral health experience.
Certifications:
Required:
-
Active RN license (state-specific).
-
CPR certification.
