About this Position Position/Specialty: Behavioral Health RN ***9-Weeks*** Shift: 3x12s Nights 6:45p-7:15a Ratios: 1RN-5pts. If floated 1RN-7pts Weekend REQ: 4 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) per Month. Shift will be the same time the traveler typically works 6:45a-7:15p Day Shift and 6:45p-7:15a Night Shift Is on-call REQ (Y/N): No Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities Yes they will need to be able to float to other Behavioral Health units including BHU and CDU. Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 First-time travelers accepted (Y/N): Yes but travel experience is preferred. License REQ: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start yes Certifications REQ: BLS Certifications Preferred: Safety Care (facility can provide during 1st month of being on site if traveler does not have) Experience/Skills REQ: Behavioral Health 2 years experience Experience/Skills Preferred: Safety Care Trained Prefer Psych ED and EmPATH experience Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule (Y/N): Yes but approval by manager prior to assignment must be obtained Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital Level Trauma: Level III Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 286 Scrub Color: Royal Blue Charting: Epic Parking Cost: No Cost Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
