We are seeking an experienced Technical Documentation Manager to lead our documentation team in producing clear

compliant and high-quality technical publications for our material handling conveyors and sortation product lines. This

leadership role requires strong mechanical and controls expertise as well as a deep understanding of documentation

standards regulatory compliance and manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating instructional video content and leveraging AI-powered tools to

enhance documentation workflows improve user engagement and streamline content creation. All documentation must

align with our ISO 9001 (Quality) ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)

certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of technical writers illustrators and documentation specialists.
  • Oversee the creation of manuals installation guides operator instructions service bulletins and safety documents.
  • Develop and manage instructional videos for training product operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Implement and optimize AI-driven documentation tools for content generation translation and quality assurance.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with ISO standards and internal quality protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineering manufacturing service and compliance teams to gather and validate technical data.
  • Maintain version control audit trails and documentation readiness for regulatory inspections.
  • Drive continuous improvement in documentation processes and technologies.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Technical Communication Mechanical Engineering Industrial Technology or related field
  • 5 years of technical writing experience with 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong mechanical and controls aptitude with the ability to interpret engineering drawings schematics and automation logic.
  • Experience producing instructional video content using tools like Camtasia Adobe Premiere or similar.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered documentation platforms and content management systems.
  • Proven track record managing documentation in ISO-certified manufacturing environments.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Exposure to industrial automation systems (PLCs HMIs SCADA).
  • Knowledge of ANSI/ISO graphic and writing standards.
  • Experience with AI tools for technical writing such as automated content generation translation and metadata tagging.
  • Ability to represent the documentation function in audits customer meetings and executive briefings
