Responsibilities:
Work with the MLE Director/ Assistant Director/Coordinator and the Director of the Parent Information Center to administer language assessments for the district.
Communicate the role of the ELL program to students and their families as well as
support the intake process for schools.
Qualifications:
DESE licensed ESL/ELL teacher multilingual with experience in language acquisition;
Proficiency in an additional language preferred;
U.S. citizen or work permit required.
Terms:
This is a non-union position and is year-round. The work day is 19 hours of a regular school
hours based on student registration needs schedule to be determined with Supervisor. Peak times are in the summer from August - October. Non-licensed teacher $30.00/hr.; Licensed teachers $37/hr. This position is contingent on funding approval.
