Job Description
Job Summary- Ensures that performance on products conform to established company quality standards. Inspect any incoming products to ensure they meet company quality standards. Reviews analyzes and reports on quality issues.
Responsibilities:
- Approves incoming products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable products. Determining if manufactured products meet quality standards enforced by Tweezerman.
- Follow quality manual guidelines and inspection plan for inspection of products.
- Document inspection results by completing daily production sheet.
- Ensure that receiving document lot quantities match actual box quantities.
- Inspect damaged boxes from suppliers for correct quantity or damaged products.
- Ensure that all discrepant material awaiting disposition is segregated and placed into the Material Review board location.
- Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools such as calipers or dimensional gauges.
- Sort and count products.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Create and maintain operational procedures.
- Update KPIs and document control.
- Assist Quality Control Manager on projects presentations quality standards and new implementation.
- Engraving technician- Includes traveling for shows events and completing customer orders.
- Report and correct unsafe work practices/conditions.
- Ensure company quality standards are met while production is underway.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate English with associates Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and be motivated to come up with efficiency and improvement ideas.
- Ability to use Computer/Excel/Microsoft Word/Email/Power Point.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to communicate to all levels of management both written and verbally.
- Ability to follow clear instructions and ask questions as needed.
- Must be able to lift up 35lbs.
