Were looking for a reliable and hardworking Parts Runner / Technician Helper to support our field service team in metro NYC. This role is essential in keeping our operations running smoothly by transporting parts tools and materials and assisting technicians at job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver parts tools and materials between job sites vendors and company locations
- Assist technicians with job site setup cleanup and general labor tasks
- Safely load secure and unload items to prevent damage
- Verify deliveries using packing slips or work orders
- Maintain a clean safe company vehicle and perform regular inspections
- Help with warehouse or facility tasks when deliveries are light
- Use basic hand tools and follow instructions from technicians and managers
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Preferred Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of related experience or a combination of education and experience
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company systems
- Ability to obtain a NYC SST card (OSHA) and DOT certification
- Experience in transportation or warehouse work is a plus
