Warehouse Production Associate Role - Omaha
Founded in 2004 The Filter Shop is a leading distributor of commercial and industrial air and liquid filtration products has been rapidly growing and is seeking a dependable and detail -oriented warehouse/production member to join the team. If youre looking for a steady schedule with no evening or weekend shifts and enjoy hands-on productive work this could be the opportunity for you.
Required Skills -
Note: Skill tests may be given during interview process
- Read and use a tape measure
- Operate a table saw
- Lift and move bulky boxes
- Count multiple different items accurately
Daily Duties -
- Cut filter caps with paper cutter
- Cut filters to specifications using a table saw
- Organize product for customization
- Operate hot melt glue machine to cap filters
- Cleaning of production area
- General warehouse duties
- Expected to retain knowledge of orders processed for quick reference
- Picking products efficiently and accurately to fulfill orders
Competencies -
- Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are essential
- Experience and knowledge of warehouse practices and safety is preferred
- Ability to prioritize meet deadlines and allocate resources appropriately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to retain task-related information
- Good verbal communication skills with co-workers managers and customers
- Self-motivated with strong follow up skills and organizational skills
- Team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable with ladders
