POSITION: WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT NAVIGATOR
Effective2025-26 School Year
LOCATION: KETTERING FAIRMONT HIGH SCHOOL
GENERAL INFORMATION: This grant-funded position is charged with oversight of the Information Technology & Healthcare pathways. They will coordinate pathway-specific peer networks for students and act as a mentor for addition this position will work directly with Fairmont students teachers and administrators on items related to career pathways.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Partial List:
1. Coordinate family outreach with district staff and ensure that all stakeholders (students
families faculty and administration) understand the competencies skills and
experiences students will take away from the program.
2. Design communications so students and their families understand options and how to
access resources.
3. Workforce development champion role with the Montgomery County ESC Business
Advisory Council.
4. Organize career activities for all students.
5. Organize internships for all students.
6. Other duties assigned by the Secondary Teaching and Learning Coordinator and
Fairmont Administration.
QUALIFICATIONS Partial List:
1. Work experience with students focused on career development and opportunities.
2. Familiarity with networking with outside organizations that could provide opportunities
for Fairmont students.
3. Experience/knowledge of College Credit Plus.
4. Experience working with local colleges and universities.
5. Must pass a criminal background check.
6. Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
SALARY: According to the approved administrator salary schedule.
