MoranAssistant Superintendent Human ResourcesSubject:Presenters for Developmental Programs Summer Institute: Designing Highly Effective Classrooms for Fall 2025The developmental programs for students with significant disabilities have adopted TeachTowns enCORE curriculum which is adapted for each of the four content areas: math ELA science and social studies. The overarching goal of the two days is to set teachers up for successful implementation in September. Success in our classrooms relies heavily on proper structures and supports from the first day of school. Qualifications: Three presenters must be coordinators for special educationThree presenters must have experience working with behavior support plans and/or coaching in developmental programsDuties and Responsibilities: Plan and implement professional development for the two days (August 20 and 21)Coordinators will be paid 5 hours of planningThree presenters will be paid 15 hours: 5 hours of planning and 10 hours of instructionApplication Deadline: August 13 2025
