Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Marketing Executive to support our lead generation and marketing research efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in identifying potential customers analyzing competitors and managing lead pipelines. This role plays a vital part in supporting the sales team by consistently feeding qualified leads and keeping market insights updated and actionable.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and list potential customers/industries such as engineering firms factories and maintenance service providers that require nuts bolts plunges and industrial fasteners.
- Conduct competitor analysis to understand pricing offerings and customer expectations.
- Build and maintain a structured and regularly updated database of potential leads with relevant details.
- Enter and manage leads in Excel or CRM systems ensuring data is organized and trackable.
- Evaluate each lead based on criteria such as industry type order size and location to ensure quality.
- Classify leads into hot warm or cold categories to support the prioritization of follow-ups.
- Collect feedback from the sales team on lead quality and conversion results.
- Track the progress of leads through the sales funnel and suggest improvements to lead generation strategies.
- Share timely field reports and lead summaries with internal teams for actionable decisions.
- Maintain professional discipline and punctuality etiquette and adhere to team coordination.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel or CRM tools
- Knowledge of B2B marketing and industrial product/market knowledge
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with the sales team
Qualifications/Prior Experience:
- BBA/B com with 3-5 years prior work experience in industrial or hardware product marketing.
- MBA with 2-3 years of prior work experience in marketing.
