Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to install maintain and repair air conditioning systems in residential commercial or industrial environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various HVAC systems strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install inspect and commission air conditioning systems (split units VRF/VRV chiller systems etc.).

  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs on mechanical and electrical components of HVAC systems.

  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Interpret blueprints technical drawings and manufacturer specifications.

  • Test system functionality and ensure installations comply with health and safety standards.

  • Record and report work completed materials used and time spent on each job.

  • Advise clients on energy efficiency and system upgrades where appropriate.

  • Respond to emergency call-outs and perform troubleshooting as needed.

  • Adhere to company policies and industry regulations including environmental and refrigerant handling guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Technical diploma or certification in HVAC Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an HVAC or Air Conditioning Engineer.

  • Knowledge of refrigeration cycles electrical wiring and control systems.

  • Valid HVAC certification and refrigerant handling license (if required by region).

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and wiring diagrams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

  • Willingness to travel to various sites and work flexible hours including on-call rotations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems) and smart HVAC technologies.

  • Familiarity with both commercial and industrial HVAC applications.

  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
