New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint however we may go slightly higher based on experience internal equity and market.

The Sustainability Coordinator (Limited Term) position supports a portfolio of sustainability projects and leads communications and outreach for Bellevues sustainability team. The position will provide project administration marketing communications environmental education and outreach support for programs supporting Bellevue residents and businesses in taking action to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
Bellevue is a dynamic city in transition that is growing rapidly while also aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 50% by 2030. This position plays a key role in supporting the implementation of the Sustainable Bellevue Plan.
Ideal candidates will have strong skills in outreach and education around climate and environmental issues communications greenhouse gas emissions accounting project administration project management community engagement and local climate and sustainability efforts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

This position is Limited Term (LTE):
A fully benefited employee appointed to serve in a position scheduled to work a minimum of 30 hours a week for a specific project with a specific ending date which is anticipated to last more than five months with an expected end date: 12/31/2026.

The City is implementing a flexible/hybrid work policy that will allow staff to work remotely.
