About the job:
This role manages FOTON Aftersales technical service operations ensuring dealer technicians are equipped to service vehicles to manufacturer standards. It also develops and delivers technical training for Fotons light trucks and LCVs including internal combustion and future new energy vehicle (NEV) models.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver face-to-face and virtual technical training for FOTON dealer technicians including onboarding diagnostics and NEV systems.
Develop and update training content assessments and hands-on modules aligned with FOTON Global standards and emerging technologies.
Provide in-field technical support coaching and mentoring to technicians including diagnosing and resolving product issues.
Monitor and analyse technical trends using systems like FPRS and implement training interventions to address recurring faults.
Collaborate with OEMs engineers and internal teams to support product updates recalls and service campaigns.
Manage technical support operations maintain training records and ensure compliance with safety quality and distributor agreement standards.
About you:
Minimum 5 years experience as a technical trainer or senior technician in light commercial vehicles with EV/hybrid knowledge preferred.
Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) required.
Strong leadership communication and organisational skills with the ability to drive change and deliver results in dynamic environments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel; must hold a valid drivers licence and be willing to travel nationally and internationally.
