What would you do as a Maintenance Tower Tech Tier 2

As a Full-Time Maintenance Tower Tech Tier 2 at Wisper ISP you will have the thrilling opportunity to climb towers up to 1000 feet installing and maintaining wireless internet equipment and camera systems. Your role will involve mounting internet equipment and efficiently routing data cables to each device as well as installing essential battery backups and grounding systems. You will prepare equipment for installation follow training protocols and conduct safety briefings to ensure a secure work environment. The position also requires configuring approved devices according to directives updating databases and documentation as necessary and performing on-site analysis to evaluate potential new tower site locations for repairs and upgrades. As a Team Lead youll coordinate on-site roles and participate in an on-call rotation schedule occasionally working after normal business hours and on weekends to maintain our high standards of service delivery.

To thrive as a Full-Time Maintenance Tower Tech Tier 2 at Wisper ISP candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a valid drivers license with the ability to be added to the company auto insurance policy. Successful completion of all Tower Tech Tier 1 duties and a minimum of one year of demonstrated experience in that role are essential. Candidates should be prepared to complete required tower training within 90 days of hire and obtain and maintain training certifications according to industry standards.

A critical skill for this position is the ability to safely climb towers up to 1000 feet demonstrating both physical capability and adherence to safety protocols. Additionally flexibility is key as off-duty hours may be needed by the department and travel within the network is required to support operational demands effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset will further contribute to success in this role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to be added to the Company auto insurance policy
• Successful completion of all Tower Tech Tier 1 duties
• Minimum 1 year demonstrated experience as Tower Tech Tier 1
• Successfully complete required tower training within 90 days of hire
• Obtain & maintain the provided training certifications per industry standards
• Ability to climb towers up to 1000 ft.
• Off-duty hours as needed by department
• Travel within the network as needed by department
