Job Description

Chemistry Teacher Innovative and academically rigorous comprehensive school Tower Hamlets
Our client is seeking a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join an innovative and high-expectations secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a full-time permanent role starting January 2026.

This is a superb chance for a Chemistry Teacher who loves to deliver stimulating lessons combining theoretical depth with strong practical work. You will teach across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to support GCSE Biology and possibly A-Level units. The school values scientific enquiry practical skills and high levels of student engagement. Teachers are encouraged to use project-based learning lab experiments field work and cross-disciplinary initiatives. Both experienced staff and emerging teachers with strong subject knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Chemistry Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge including practical biology and investigative skills
Experience in delivering KS3KS4 Chemistry; willingness to contribute to extend learning outside lessons
Legal right to work in the UK
