MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:An applicant may meet the minimum qualifications for this job in one of two ways: They may qualify through their work experience alone or through a combination of education and work experience.
Education/Licensure/Certification/Experience:Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in engineering
SubstitutionsCurrent enrollment as an Engineer-Intern by the Colorado State Board of Licensure for Architects Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors will substitute for the required degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to the minimum requirements the successful candidate in this position will have the following experience:
- Experience with state and or federal air regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational process improvement and project management skills
- Ability to set track and accomplish priorities goals and timetables to achieve maximum productivity
- Experience explaining technical processes to non-technical individuals orally and in writing
- Managing time and delegating effectively
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all partners.
- Ability to drive and support group customer and program initiatives
- Researching and interpreting Federal and State air quality regulations
- Extensive experience developing and/or reviewing complex air quality permits highly preferred
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
