- Providelegaladviceandoutlinepossiblecoursesofaction.
- LegalResearch&CasePreparation:
- Investigateaccidentreportsmedicalrecordsandwitnessstatements.
- Gatherandanalyzeevidencetobuildastrongcase.
- Consultwithmedicalexpertsaccidentreconstructionspecialistsandotherprofessionals.
- Negotiation&Settlement:
- Negotiatewithinsurancecompaniesandopposingcounsel.
- Seektomaximizesettlementamountsbeforeproceedingtotrial.
- Litigation&CourtRepresentation:
- Draftlegaldocuments(complaintsmotions&discoveryrequests).
- Representclientsincourtproceedingsincludinghearingstrialsanddepositions.
- Presentargumentsquestionwitnessesandadvocateonbehalfofclients.
- ClientCommunication&CaseManagement:
- Keepclientsinformedaboutcaseprogressandlegalstrategies.
- Managemultiplecasessimultaneouslywhiledeadlinesaremet.
RequiredSkills&Qualifications
- Education&Licensing:
- JurisDoctor(J.D.)degreefromanaccreditedlawschool.
- LicensedtopracticelawintherelevantstateofNewYork
- Experienceinpersonalinjurylawpreferred.(Plaintiffsideonly)
Salary is between $110000 - $150000 compensation on all cases settled that you originate. Solid benefits.
