Tasks

Offer meaningful companionship and conversation in Farsi to help alleviate isolation and support mental well-being
Support the client with light activities emotional reassurance and safety monitoring
Foster a calm nurturing environment appropriate for a senior living with dementia
Maintain open communication with the family regarding any concerns or changes in the clients condition
Encourage participation in simple engaging tasks that promote dignity and cognitive engagement

Requirements

Fluent in Farsi (spoken)
PSW Certification preferred but not required for experienced companion caregivers
Experience with dementia care highly desirable
Kind patient and professional demeanor
Comfortable working independently in a home setting
COVID-19 vaccination not required
Must be available for a family-led interview
