About the role...
Were looking for someone to join our Growth Pillar. The Growth Pillar focuses on attracting new users retaining current users and bringing users back to Duolingo. More users more data (so we can teach better) and more paid subscribers (so we can invest in making the app even better and keep the lights on!). The Growth Areas goal is to make Duolingo so fun and delightful that our learners stick around to make real progress and tell their friends all about it!
You will...
- Drive product features through their entire creative cycle: ideation specification development release analysis and iteration
- Establish the product vision and strategy for your product area and build alignment across product teams cross-functional partners and the executive team
- Perform qualitative and quantitative research to explore and validate feature ideas
- Partner with product designers to ensure a fun and delightful user experience in our product
- Work with engineers and designers to help guide feature development
- Perform experiment analysis on features and find opportunities for optimization
- Execute with urgency and excellence
You have...
- 4-6 years of product management experience with a proven track record
- A desire to make the world a better place through technology and education
- Experience generating impressive results as a product manager
- Ability to utilize user insights data and statistical analyses to inform decisions
- Top-tier design sense -- every pixel matters at Duolingo
- Ability to apply user insights data and statistical analyses to inform decisions
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve be curious and innovative
Exceptional candidates will have...
- Advanced degree in Business Computer Science Design Psychology or equivalent
- Extensive experience in fast-growing consumer-facing apps with strong IAP and/or subscription growth.
