About the Role
Were looking for a Growth Product Manager to lead our strategy on incentives and behavioral nudges that drive member engagement and retention. This role sits at the intersection of data psychology and experimentationleveraging insights to deliver delightful impactful features that help members build financial habits that stick. Youll work cross-functionally with product design engineering lifecycle marketing and analytics teams to create systems that reward the right behaviors at the right time.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $140670 and up to $195400. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus competitive equity package and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher depending on your location skills qualificationsand experience.
This role is on-site in San Francisco Monday-Thursday each week.
In this role you can expect to:
- Define and own the product roadmap for incentives and behavioral nudges across the member journey
- Build systems that encourage savings timely repayments and responsible usage of Chime products
- Develop frameworks to test and scale growth experiments using incentives gamification and personalized prompts
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to bring features from ideation to launch measuring and iterating based on impact
- Use behavioral science insights to influence product design and communication strategies
- Analyze member data to uncover trends and optimize nudge effectiveness
- Ensure all growth strategies align with Chimes mission values and regulatory responsibilities
To thrive in this role:
- Experience designing A/B tests with platforms like Optimizely or internal experimentation tools to drive user retention
- Proven ability to build incentive systems or gamified features that help members achieve financial goals
- Collaborative mindset having partnered with behavioral scientists analysts and designers to create habit-forming experiences
- Strong analytical skills using tools like SQL Looker or Amplitude to identify behavioral drivers and shape product opportunities
- Comfortable navigating regulated environments where growth must be balanced with member trust and compliance
- Track record of bringing 01 products to life in dynamic mission-driven settings
- A genuine curiosity for human motivation and a thoughtful approach to influencing behavior ethically
