ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT:The Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst is responsible for delivering actionable data-driven insights that support network planning regulatory compliance operational efficiency and customer experience. This role ensures decisions are informed by accurate timely data and works closely with Network Planning Operations and Compliance teams to develop reports predictive models and forecasting tools aligned with strategic goals.
MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:- Collect manage and validate internal and external data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze data to uncover insights that support strategic planning operational efficiency and compliance.
- Design reports and dashboards that deliver real-time actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Track KPIs and evaluate internal service delivery to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure data practices and reporting align with compliance and regulatory standards.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline data collection reporting and automation.
- Document data processes and standards to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with teams to understand data needs and tailor insights accordingly.
- Design dashboards scorecards and analytics tools to support decision-making.
- Track KPIs to evaluate efficiency compliance and service delivery.
- Ensure reporting solutions align with system structures and project objectives.
- Build maintain and refine predictive models using historical and external data relevant to Corporate Services.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses support special projects and run forecasting scenarios to assess operational impacts.
- Forecast internal service demand (e.g. IT procurement) to optimize resource allocation.
- Continuously validate and improve model accuracy based on new data.
- Present forecast metrics and strategic insights to Lead Business Intelligence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor reports to department-specific needs.
REQUIREMENTS:- College diploma in Mathematics Statistics Information Technology Business Analytics Transportation Planning Data Science or Computer Science.
- Certification in data and reporting tools such as Power BI is mandatory.
- 3 years experience as a data analyst
- Minimum of 3 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency with the following tools: R or Python Microsoft Power BI Microsoft Fabric SharePoint Excel and Google Analytics.
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques to interpret large datasets identify trends and extract actionable insights.
- Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis and business process analysis is preferred.
- Experience with marketing campaign analysis and performance measurement.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and solution design practices.
- Solid understanding of predictive modeling demand forecasting and performance analytics.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and transportation policy reporting is preferred.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Focus on process automation and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.
