Employment status: Permanent - Full-time
Classification: Municipal Officer Level 5
Agreement: Hobart City Council Enterprise Agreement 2024
Salary range: $119423 to $129372 per annum 13.5% superannuation.

This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of technology projects ensuring the efficient implementation of systems and digital solutions that meet organisational standards timelines and budgets. This role plays a pivotal part in coordinating cross-functional teams managing project risks and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Acts as a key liaison between technical teams business stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and the delivery of measurable value across operational environments.
Role accountabilities include:
- Manage project budgets risks and compliance with governance frameworks legislation and data privacy standards.
- Oversee change management user adoption and stakeholder communication to support successful technology integration.
- Promote digital equity and sustainability through inclusive solutions and public access initiatives.
- Ensure technology solutions are sustainable accessible and inclusive for all community members. Promote digital equity and support initiatives that enhance public access to digital services.

About you
Are you passionate about turning digital vision into reality Join us as aTechnology Implementation Manager where you will lead the charge in delivering cutting-edge technology projects that transform how we work and serve our communities.
We want you on our team with the following qualifications and experience.
- Bachelors degree in Project Management Information Technology or a related discipline with demonstrated expertise in project delivery using PRINCE2 Agile or equivalent methodologies.
- Extensive experience in delivering medium to large-scale ICT projects with a strong track record of successful implementation.
Furthermore
- Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders and vendors ensuring alignment with strategic goals and community outcomes.
- Expertise in interpreting contracts SLAs and producing clear structured documentation and reports.
- Demonstrated leadership in fostering collaborative high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement.
- Deep understanding of ICT systems data integration and project management methodologies.
Desirable
- Experience working within a local government environment.
